somewhere, in some tiny town in some far off country or state you've never visited, there is a trans kid who's life consists of nothing but struggle.

they wake up, and from the moments their eyes open to the moment their eyes close once again at night in what they think is the safety of their bed, they face nothing but prejudice, hate, and contempt.

everyday, i can't help but think about this kid and what they're doing right now, or who they're talking to or what they're gonna eat next, i feel like i can take comfort in them.

wherever they are, whatever they're writing, or whatever they happen to be doing at the time, i just like to imagine that they have hope. and that they know somewhere along the line. whatever they're doing, and at this time, something is gonna get better
